ELA Blockchain Services a.s. (EBS) is part of a corporate structure led by the Electrotechnical Association of the Czech Republic (ElA), which is its majority shareholder. EBS develops all aspects of platform-based business and builds a platform ecosystem. To achieve this, it develops and provides blockchain node software based on the open-source Hyperledger Fabric framework and offers it free of charge to entities that wish to become part of the platform. Along with the core software, it also provides the basic Blockchain Notarius® application free of charge.

We are firmly committed to delivering our services with transparency and ethical responsibility, while actively working on developing technologies that respect privacy and support a sustainable digital world.
Our goal is to become a globally recognized platform for securing and authenticating digital data that is both accessible and easy to use for the general public. This vision is closely related to the National Blockchain Registry (NABRE). We aim to enable everyone—from small startups to large corporations—to effectively protect their data and leverage the latest technologies to enhance transparency and trust in the digital space.
There is no longer any doubt that blockchain is an essential tool for the functioning of a digitalized economy and society. However, our vision of blockchain goes beyond its current applications in cryptocurrencies or business blockchains offered by large cloud providers.We believe that the future of blockchain must uncompromisingly adhere to its fundamental principles—independence and the distributed nature of the technology—while also being transparent, secure, and governed by established rules. Only under these conditions can blockchain provide the technological foundation for an indisputable public authority.According to our vision, these conditions are met by a consortium-type blockchain owned and operated by a community of independent and trusted blockchain node owners.
